All client served by the dhcpd server are stored in /etc/dhcpd.leases. At
some point I was thinking about some import facility allowing one to
update a DNS from this file. This looks like a good idea, except that
there is already something going on between dhcpd and named. I don't know
how this work, but I was told that bind 8 and dhcpd 2 do have a way to
solve this problem.

I was planning to add various "import" facilities to the dnsconf module

-import a /etc/hosts file. Handy for people discovering
late what is a DNS and having a huge hosts file
-import one zone file into another domain
        -import the /etc/dhcpd.leases files

Comments welcome on those ideas.
