Yes, get the updated ifup-aliases script from
ftp://ftp.solucorp.qc.ca/pub/linuxconf/devel/redhat-5.1/ifup-aliases
This fix was reported in the 1.13r5 change log posted here some time
ago.
(There are some more corrections in this script)
