hi all, i was wondering. how linuxconf is getting bigger and bigger, why not to compress it in bz2? then the downloads will be faster and the solucorp and mirros bandwidth will be saved too... i think bz2 is kinda basic in all distributions linuxconf support, even on the kernel they're using it... the r9 .tgz is about 2.5Mb and in .bz2 it's only 1.7Mb other solution to the size i thought was to create a subpackage linuxconf-i18n ou linuxconf-translations or something just with the translations to the various languages that are growing more and more... somebody else?
