[linuxconf] Re: color codes in linux directories

try 
/etc/bashrc
~/.bashrc
/etc/profile
~/.bash_profile

normally it's just an alias like
alias ls="ls --color"

or the env var DIR_COLORS setted in one of the above files.

on both cases, just comment the line.
