I don't know what kind of editor do you use, but your sentences seems to 
be bumped in one line....

Anyway. I think the problem you've encountered may due to the improper 
version of consoletools and consolefonts. Please check 
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/Changes to get the latest version of 
consoletools and consolefonts. I think that will help.
