Here is the situation... I have a client that has a domain sponsored by my company (on a linux server of course) they have a Novell domain at their workplace using DHCP., with Win95 workstations. What they want to do is to setup a Linux email server that will replace their aging Mercury Transport Agent, to allow them to send messages out to the real world to their mail.domain.com address but receive messages from the local linux box. Is there a Fetchmail configurator written for Linuxconf? This would help our situation much... Essentially all this does is poll their domain a mail.domain.com and bring down all messages for their people to the local transport agent (mercury) then the people log into the Novell server to retrieve messages. I am having a problem in setting this up and any help would be most appreciated. I guess in the nutshell I want to use a Linux box to poll the mail.domain.com account, bring down the messages to the Linux box that is assigned a 192.168.x.x address and have people log into the Linux box to get their mail but I am having a severe brain fart on this one.... One more perk is that if I can make this work successfully, they will replace all the Windows95 clients with Linux clients....woohooo!!! :-) Thanks Nick Linux Systems Group ______________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com --- You are currently subscribed to linuxconf as: [[email protected]] To unsubscribe, forward this message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
