Well try that
mkdir -p /etc/mail/mailconf
cp /usr/lib/linuxconf/mailconf/copyright.cf /etc/mail/mailconf
echo Fw/etc/sendmail.cw >>/etc/mail/mailconf/copyright.cf
then ask linuxconf to generate a new sendmail.cf and this will work.
