You may want to enable both the dialout and pppdialin module, then
configure the pppdialin defaults at the end of the user account menu.

        linuxconf --setmod dialout
        linuxconf --setmod pppdialin

will enable the module. For each PPP account, specify that the login
script is /usr/lib/linuxconf/lib/ppplogin. If you are using mgetty with
autoPAP (Install the mgettyconf module to configure mgetty), point it to
the /usr/lib/linuxconf/lib/paplogin script.
