Yes. There is no printer config support in linuxconf at all. There is two
reasons for that

        -the printer support is quite different in all distribution. I
         would to support the kind of stuff redhat is doing with the
         filtering, but not all distro have this package.

        -the printtool does a good job, although only in text mode.
