gecko was removed prior to 1.12r5 installation.

I removed the current version 1.12r7:
 rpm -e linuxconf linuxconf-gui, reinstall 1.12r6 and
all is well. Another item i noticed with 12.r7 is GUI and web based
versions run but after entering a new user the password
is not correct in /etc/passwd e.g. user:!!:500:500:....
the password spot contains !! even though password was accepted.

i had these same errors after installing 1.12r5.
upgrading to 1.12r6 corrected these errors.
upgrading to 1.12r7 created these errors again.

Thanks Monte
