There are some problems with features, but a straight-forward, default
PAP set up should work just fine for Win95 TCP/IP clients (you do have
IPX and Netbios negotiation turned off at the W95 client... or supported
on your server?).

You mention "make kernel" -What combination have you chosen for "Set
version symbols on modules" and compiling ppp ... compiling ppp for
kernel or as a module? If you answer "yes" to "Set Version Symbols" then
make sure you compile ppp as a module! Read the xconfig help for more
info - I have run into problems here before.

Unless you can get some debug info there's not much more I can suggest.

Hope that helps,

R.
