I get the log error: eth0:0-: unknown interface. when I try to add a second IP for my network card. I try pinging the address, and get no reply. I've seen this problem mentioned before, but it was claimed that this is just a cosmetic problem, meaning that the change actually occurs. In my case, can't ping the new address.
