[linuxconf] Re: Problem Creating IP Alias

I checked further, and the interface for the added IP is created.  I looked 
in /proc/net/aliases, and it was there.  HOWEVER, I still can't ping the IP 
from the server, but I can ping it from other machines.  I can live with 
this, but does anyone know why the ping won't work from the machine itself, 
and if there is a way to fix this.
