You don't have support in kernel for the shaper utility. ipaliases work ok
under linuxconf (use latest one ;-)... If you really need shaper utility, you
can try kernel 2.2.1, but you have to learn about aliases, firewalling and
routing (and shaper, of course) new mechanisms if you want to get all they can
give you.
