Razzloss requested for more information: And you're sure your friend gets the good speed from the same user and not from multiple users? As ApexDC++ version he's using most likely has segmented download support which is missing from released LinuxDC++s. Is your connection working otherwise ok? So that you can download from other sources with expected speeds (eg. torrents, web, sftp)?
