Keyboard layout switches when special chars entered into the chat

Bug description:
If you have multiple keyboard layouts installed then you enter some
particular characters to the chat, then you click inside the chat
_anywhere_ after that special thing, your keyboard layout switches to
English.
To reproduce:
1) First you have multiple layouts installed
2) Enter some arabic text to the chat like this: Az arab nyelv (العربية
al-ʿarabijja; kevésbé formálisan: عربي ʿarabi)
3) Enter something else to the chat too
4) Click inside the chat. Make sure you click _after_ the arabic text
5) Your layout switches
This happens not only with arabic text, but it's the easiest to reproduce
