Feat|Req: Window-ish column slimming.

Bug description:
I'd like to have the option to "turn-off" what might be less
interesting columns inside for instance the user-menu, transfer-menu,
downloads-/uploads-menus via a rightclick-menu like you can inside
windows, to cut down space and focus on what matters for you.
I know you can slide columns over others but that's not as sexy and a
royal pain in the butt.
