I cannot confirm this with the current version of DC++ running all encryption
disabled.
Both encrypted and unencrypted CCPM connection attempts to a DC++ with TLS
disabled just hang indefinitely. Similarly the other way round, unencrypted
CCPM connection attempts from a DC++ with TLS disabled to an unmodified one
behave the same.
However, I think some of the safeguards added to AirDC++ in
https://github.com/airdcpp/airgit/commit/39a331ad1ec183373b92334dbcbe822f75ae8bf6
should not hurt to have in DC++ as well.

Title:
Unencrypted CCPM connections are not being rejected
Status in AirDC++:
Fix Released
Status in DC++:
Triaged
Bug description:
The application still incorrectly shows that direct encrypted channel
has been established. AirDC++ also shouldn't allow establishing direct
encrypted channels when transfer encryption has been disabled.
