I think it's a good idea. One question..we still need to figure
out how this brochure thing will work. Will they send us [meaning me,
you, or one of the other people on this list] the brochures and than
we have to resend them, or will they send them directly to LUGs once
we have addresses? The first method would require funding of some
sort, cause mailing many pieces of papers to many people across the
world will be expensive. Funding would require donations, which than
leads to tax issues and paperwork, as who ever gave us funding would
probably want to list us as a non-for-profit...
The second method would be easier, but again, the company would
now have to handle the logistics of sending stuff out. Jim, you
may want to bring this point up with some of the corporate contacts
at some point and see what they think.
