I've come up with a list of major tasks that are being worked on
or need someone to work on so that everyone has an idea of where
we're at. If you're helping something and I forgot to list it,
plz inform me. If there's a task you want and have time for, _plz_
take it :)
- Web Page Tasks
o Test that all scripts still work on new server - Deepak
o Get diary scripts setup - Deepak
o Get access to people for news and diary posting - Deepak
o Get legal page up - Deepak
o Get scripts/layout setup for easy internationalization
- Above 5 being worked on at moment
o Integrate an web based project management system into web site
for us to use. - Deepak
o French site - Eugene
o Spanish site - Rodolfo
o German site - Needs owner (Gerd-Christian?)
- Above two tasks waiting on fleshing out layout of the
various sites.
- Documents
o FAQ - Deepak...though glad to hand off to someone else :)
- Would like to see this up by press release time so that all the
people who join the mailing list won't bombard it with lots
of the same questions.
o Local Media Press Release Template - Jim (I think?)
o Public Linux Demonstration Guide - Deepak
o Linux Presentation Guide - Needs owner
- Do we need multiple...one for presenting to business owners, one
for presenting to school administrator, IT owners, etc??
o Linux Info Brochure - Needs owner <-- * HIGH IMPORTANCE *
- I already have some ideas/outline for above two
o Translate FAQ, guides, and info brochure into French - (Eugene?)
o Translate FAQ, guides, and info brochure into Spanish - (Rodolfo?)
o Translate FAQ, guides, and info brochure into German - (Gerd-Christian?)
- Most important of those above is info brochure, as that's what'll
be handed out to people.
- Advertising/Corporate
o Put out press release to Linux sites. - Jim <-- Scheduled: Mon. 6/14
o Keep getting corporate sponsors - Jim
- I think there is at least one other person helping him...don't
remember who though.
- Application list
o Figure out exactly what we're doing with this - Everybody
