We had a great event in New Delhi for the LDD. We had decided on a
Seminar format for the event, since it's easier to get space, people
and sponsorship that way.

In the 2-part event we had about 100 people turn up for the first
(morning) session and about 30 for the second (afternoon) one. We had
4 presentations and a 1-hour open demo in each session, all of which
were received very well. What really got people was the Caldera
install with Tetris while-u-wait!

All in all a successful event. I've had offers from two agencies to
do more such events already, let's see where we get.

Hats off to all who contributed: the LDD team, the international
sponsors, the Indian sponsors, SGI (for giving me time to spend on LDD
instead of my projects :-) and last but not least, the Linux-Delhi
team who made everything so easy. You guys and girls are great!

More later,
