Hello all. The linuxdemo lists have been dead for a while due to
the fact that I've had no time to concentrate on Linux advocacy events.
I have some time again and have made it into one of my main priorities.
As you can see from the announcement I just sent out, I'm trying to
get people to go out and do something to coincide with the Win2K release.
I am also looking at other possible dates throughout the year for massive
advocacy events.

If you are planning on doing something for the Win2K release and want
stuff from vendors, you need to send me your info _even if it's already
in the linuxdemo database_. The reason is b/c the database is somewhat
broken and out of sync at the moment. :(

Sponsors on these lists, I've sent some email to you in regards
to helping with the Win2K release but haven't heard back from
most of you. Please let me know if you want to help.

I hope everyone had a safe and fun Y2K. Expect to hear more from
me in the coming weeks and months.

Happy Linuxing,
Deepak
