Hiyee there,
Let me add to this thread of pushing Linux into
schools.
Just recently i had been to Delhi representing my
Company(FreeOS.com) at the Internet India World Expo.
Out there i met a company who is into developing a
product for integrating the complete working of
schools & this product in on Linux. Though at present
this is a commercial product it is of a professional
look & feel. And the company bieng a small one would
appreciate help in promoting linux + his product in
Bombay Schools.
Not only does it have the complete resources to
move the school Administration Online but it also
provides a platform for Schools to setup a hub for
broadcasting & streaming content to the desktops from
a centralised location. finally it aims to be a portal
for students & have all their curriculum online. All
this & much more on Linux.
