2 ways .. one's hacking into one ;-)  , another is to use a remote
administration tool (Provided that's your server) else it's point 1 again
....
Try installing a linux distro .. rev engg the installation of the webserver
on your local PC
That way you'll save the online time and the crime of hacking (cracking)
into another's server .. ;-)
Off lately people have been securing linux servers using wrapping tools to
protect the servers from port scanners et al ... These wrapper tools prevent
the divulgence of the true nature of the port
Telnet to port 80 you get connection closed ... However other http
connections work ..
Which tool .?? Dunno myself .. Do some more digging ....
