Hi rajen,
You have got the problems what I had while installing RH5.2 (but you are
lucky I made a mess of it i had format my hard disk {it was all due to my
mistake - no intention of freightening you or any newbies in this mailing
list} ).
I have gone through the chip special on LINUX ( couldn't read it in detail
due to time constraints) found it to be very good for beginners like you
and me and it has two cds red hat 6.00 and also many other software.
Many of your doubts will be cleared by reading CHIP and you wont have to
go to any corner of mumbai to see a working LINUX machine, you can have it
in your own PC ;-)

I think if you have the manual of your video card you can get the
information from there or you may have to open the pc (if you are not a
tech. geek your enggr can do the job).
