StarOffice Installation

Hi, I recently upgraded to redhat linux 6 from the chip cd. When I 
tried to install StarOffice, the setup script asked to install Glibc2, 
as it is required for star to work. But i could not install glibc2, by 
running the script "soprep" nor could i do it manually. Can anyone 
who has installed the software or knows how to do it, let me know 
how to install staroffice and glibc2.
