While Installing RH 5.2 at friends place , the Xconfigurator set the
resolution at 1024x764 at 16 pixels. But when started the X windows the
screen went blank. The system didn't hang or crash but nothing happenend.
Later after reconfiguring at 800x600 at 24 pixels it worked fine.
The machine has a S3 video card and TVM TD Colour monitor. While
installing we had selected "Generic Multisync" as monitor, while the card
was autodetected by the system.
