I am from Thane, been associated with ilug-bom since its inception.
Maybe on a personal scale u will find it easy to find help from each other
among your group, but i am sure u will benefit from being associated with
ilug-bom too.
By no means do we discourage NEWBIES ! So if u think your questions might
go unanswered, or that we are a high funda techie group...then u are
ABSOLUTELY wrong !!! :-)
Infact we have atleast 5-7 of them at every meet. And for that matter,
everybody is a newbie...i might know networking, but i might be a newbie at
X window programming...so we are all learning.

actually we are just a group of new users who want 2 help each other out
we all share the feeling that one combined group is a much better idea but
it gets difficult to find support otherwise, say configuring X and so on.
We are infact very much dependent on the support we would get from all the
others out there
after all, it is the joy of sharing which has made linux waht it is !!!
