I would first of all like to apologise for writing this non-linux
related mail.But i thought i could reach out to a lot of engg graduates this
way and i really need their advice.
I am in my last year of computer engg. and as all engg grads know i
need to do a project as part of my curriculum.I would like to post a couple
of questions
1)How important is this project ? in terms of how exactly does it affect my
future prospects?considering the fact most of us have no prior experience
developing solutions professionally.
2)I have a project at Reliance Ltd.They have an intranet running ..so the
project is going to be based on that.
what kind of project against this background....is most challenging?? i have
been given a couple of options but they don't sound too exciting ..like
putting a phone database on the intranet,an automated requisitioning system
and a cargo (courier) tracking service.Any ideas on what proposals i could
put forth that would help me get good marks on this project?Inputs will
appreciated(not flames that is )
