First ...
A lot of HTML mails are going around the list so all you outlook guys please disable it ... (Nagarjun still uses pine .. !! )
Send mail as plain text .. There is a setting if you are using O.E 5 with comes with I.E 5
Also please do not send attachments to the list
A 16.7K attachment is ok now .. but a URL would be more in conformance to the netiquette of the list
Thanks once again for listening
I would like no further comments on what I just said and the thread dies here ( So does the HTML mails I hope )
Still if someone can't get it disabled then mail me

Subject: A Microsoft Joke..... & a dialing problem :)

Hi, friends i am a new member of ur grp. & this is my first message to u all.
Well i have attached a file called Liuxmyths this file has been downloaded from
             microsoft's official site, & it contains :

                          1) so-called comparisions betwn LINUX & windows nt.

                          2) and how nt is superior to LINUX (as claimed by microsoft.)

Well, it seems microsoft runs away from truth, even Servers Graphics Insight
(SGI) has decided to phase ou nt systems because of their performance & has decided to
introduce LINUX machines, i seems microsoft has not heard this .

                         I have a small problem....

             (Q) I use a Red-Hat 6.0 and i have a D-Link modem & using XISP as a dialer, the problem is
XISP dials properly(i.e my modem shriks) but when i type any URL in the netscape
window, it says it can't find the host.Could anyone please figure out what can be the problem.

Well, could anyone, please inform me as to what is the kind of activity at the meet
of all linux users. I am intrested in it. May be I can be of help.
