Hi I recently installed KDE on my debian. I could easily configure wvdial to dial up to VSNL. I have tried a lot but i am not able to configure the GUI based KDE Dialup. It says the ppd terminated unexpectedly. Has anyone used the dialup software given in the KDE? Hi PPL I have "Complete refrence Guide to Linux". it's a good book costing around Rs. 450/-. Although it is for open Source Linux, it's usefull for Red HAt PPl. Well as regards the idea of keeping the software onthe server. I think since these softwares are already availble on the net the best think would be to provide just the link to those sites. We can also have a bookmark sort of which can be imported in Netscape.
