Just got hold of RHL 6.1 from PC-Quest.
Fantastic installation ! completely GUI based. No hassles.
Good News for SIS cards supports sis6215 & 6326 (AGP).
It's got an "Interactive" boot-up ... something similar to step-by-step
confirmation under win98. which one can choose while booting.
kernel rev. : 2.2.12
Gnome is packaged with it... & no addittional configuration. simply type
"startx" and its up. No hassles whatsoever.
What else... ?????
well... I just installed it... .. haven't fooled around yet ... but it works
great !!
It's much faster from 5.2 , I had earlier.
(It even recongnized my system AMD K62 350 Mhz. as a K6 class CPU equiv.
to PII class) .. 5.2 did not recognize it & ran slow.
