I think it is important that the ML receives all replies to any queries posted here.
Thats the only way this can act as a discussion forum. I people only see the
questions floating around, then there wont be any exchange of new ideas ...
I can think of many ways in which this "promiscuous" mode of posting mails can
be helpful to others ...
In fact this discussion had already taken place some time back and at that time
almost every body had agreed that using the "reply-to:" field was a good idea.
So (again) I vote that all the mails should contain the ML address in the "reply-to:"
field.
