This is the nth meet ever since I joined that I wont be able to attend
... this time due to the blasted 5th Sem exams coming up - the
MicroP paper really hurts! :-(
But the topics on the agenda are the ones that are really important
from the home user point of view (aka "mine"). Heres what I want to
be able to do -
* Access mail from a number of mail accounts present on a variety
of POP servers.
* Create and send mails with different identities and email
addresses other than the loginname "[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
* Use a different SMTP server if the default (vsnl) doesnt work since
sometimes it causes a series of timeouts on Pegasus under
windows.
* If possible, create a single mail box for a number of users, which
in my case is myself, my big bro and the root account.
Is there also any software like Pegasus which can do all of this,
under linux? Or is the sendmail+fetchmail+exmh combination good
enough?
If any of the above topics can be solved and if they are discussed at
the meet, *please* someone post the outcomes either on the ML or
me personally. Heck, post all the minutes anyway ...
Desperately seeking help,
Sameer.
