Hi Friends
well can anyone please tell me some keyboard shortcuts to spead up my work. I'm pretty
much used to working on windows (at office). I would like to know some shortcuts :
1) to switch between applications. Alt + Tab doesn't show me the list of current
applications, I can only switch between the current one & the previous one.
2) to start shell prompt.
3) By default my linux boots into X-windows. How do I switch to command prompt at
bootup time. In windows you press F8 when it shows "starting windows....".
4) how do I enable "start menu" in gome or kde.
Any help will be appreciated.
