C. P. Thomas, head of the editorial team, was getting worried on how we
managed to carry an ESR article. CHIP as a policy carries only original
content, except for the occasional translation from the German edition.

I'm aware of that. I have printouts (PostScript version) of all three
parts of C&B that have been circulating around the office. It's been a
few months since I last saw them!
And ESR's fetchmail is how everyone here gets their e-mail.
