Hi,
Can anyone recomend a good A/c s/w for Linux ?
I am basicly looking for a "back end accounting engine" which would
accept transactions from external sources (appropriatly formated text
files)
and make the required debits / credits and generate fiscal reports like
T/b,b/s, ledgers
etc etc etc........
In the Worst Worst case, I wouldnt even mind a COBOL solution, because I
know
that RM/COBOL from Liant which I had worked on in 1995 has been ported to
Linux.
I just cant remember the name of the s/w that my company (in dubai btw) was
using.
But what is important is the ability to import transactions. After much
searching on Lycos / Searchalot, I found one NY based company that has a
solution, but does not
accept external data.
Thanks
Shahed.
