? curious problem... I got a similar line... excepting I use "defaults"
option tag.
defaults contains these options..
'rw,suid,dev,exec,auto,nouser,async'
(note the nouser option ... do not use defaults if U want many user access)
...but I am able to create / edit files in fat32 if I login only as a user.

changing 'user' to 'users' option should do the trick..... Its documented in
mount. ( do a 'man mount' )
