You guys may not believe it - at least reading your posts, I don't think
you will.

I have a Cirrus Logic 5440 (PCI) with 512KB RAM (that's all that's left).
I get a maximum of 800x600x256, and I'm happy - except that I can't do
much image manipulation right now.
