missing a trailing slash there my friend. If you don't include the
trailing slash in a directory, the server will not return the page. It
actually returns either a 301 or a 302 (moved permanently or moved
temporarily) with the location of the new page. The browser then has to
make a second request to the server with the new url.
What this translates to is extra load on the server, extra work for the
browser, unneccessary network traffic, larger router queues, and basically
a slowing down of the internet for everyone.
