Another good one is by William Stallings ... I don't remember the name. It
explains all important principles with specific details of Windows NT and
Unix at the end of each chapter.

I don't know about the others, but I found his style much better than the
Tanenbaum books. It highly organized and makes wonderfully lucid reading
for even non-comp engineers like me.
