All mailers have an option in sending the mail in HTML/plain text format .
wheather it may be Microsoft exchange / Lotus Notes ( notes 4.5 had a
problem as everything was uuencoded and the HTML setting was dependent on
the server .. this has changed since R5 ) , Outlook has this option and it
can be used to explicitly to send text mail ..
This wasn't a major issue and hence it was kept pending . I was testing some
scripts . (Procmail security / html parsing scripts ) but the mails were not
coming as desired .( The content was disrupted ) . Also many people were
having TCP/IP accounts due to the increasing number of private ISP's and
this wasn;t a priority anymore ( sorry for taking this point of view ) and
it was not worth the trouble for trying this on the mailing list . ( the ml
had some problems in between and we've had a rough patch ) . However we can
test in the "testing" list for this .
Contact me with the necessary scripts ..

These bounces are being generated usually by users from chequemail .
Usually the unsubscribe mark was 4 but after getting some sound advice from
a List member it was raised to 8 bounces.
After which the user is unsubscribed.
