Well, here's the initial report.

We couldn't get it working off the harddisk.

The pt had win 98 installed. It could not read the SuSE CD properly and
got all files in uppercase.

We booted from SuSE installation disk, but could not install from
harddisk, nor could we access the CD (because it was a parallel port
ATAPI) and the kernel did not have support for that.

Other options before us:

- Get it copied correctly by connecting over the network to linux server
running SaMBa. Network wasn't working under Win.

- Connect via DirectCC (parallel port data cable) to another Win PC and
copy over that. Could not make the connection (for some unknown
  reason).

- Create a boot disk with support for parallel ATAPI CDROM. We didn't
have time for it then, so skipped it.

- Install from diskette. Prakash will do this at home using Debian 2.1
  disk images (5 images)

Other things we did:

- Download DLX. We didn't compile it because it worked out to the same as
  kernel compiling and more.
