dear erle,
i am personally using suse 6.3 and found it to be quiet stable and
would also recommend it to you.
but there are desrepencies while installing such as
1. the evaluation CD starts with a german install.
2. the graphical install asks for the linux partitions to be contiguos i.e next to
each other.
you can borrow the cd from the LUG.;and oifcourse you can buy it from me ;-) just
kiddin.
it has all the GUI,s like gnome,kde,fvwm,icewm,blackbox etc.
it also has support for i810 chipsets.
i guess some body was asking for i810 support
