Does tripod give you cgi access? I don't think so. It's a very bad idea
for a free server to give users cgi access.
Second, does tripod have mysql installed? Are they willing to install it
for you? Will they give you an account on the database?
Third, assuming the above two were in your favour, does tripod have the
required modules for accessing mysql through Perl?
Fourth, it's perl or Perl, not, never, ever PERL.
