Hi all,
Our college computers have S3 Trio cards with IBM 6540 G42 monitors. We
have been trying to configure X on them ... but unsuccessful so far. We
have installed the S3 server, but we get errors saying that a configured
device could not be found - and I know what the hardware is - there is
proper manual with the IBM systems.
We managed to get things started using the Framebuffer hack given in
PCQuest ... what is that any way?
