U cannot use old /etc/X11/XF86Config file with XFree86 4.0
because the format for later release have be changed. Pls
refer relevent docs for building config file for new
version. The package do contain xf86config script, which
will generate basic XF86Config file and than u have to hand
modify the save to suit u config.
