[ILUG-BOM] sendmail is a zombie. What do I do?

[Nobody]

Please help me.  My sendmail has become a zombie, and nothing I do seems
to kill it.  I am out of ideas.  I cannot send mail, nor does fetchmail
work cause it uses smtp.
I am telnetting directly to my smtp server to send this mail.
