I think we *do* need to worry about disrepute or at least disinformation.
The average person will get all sorts of wrong ideas ("2100/-? I can get
pirated windows2k for $SMALLNUM at the corner pirate house!", "Linux,
yes, I have heard about this. It is an Indian inwention.") and the
semi-clued PHBs will think "Is that so, lets try it.
*install*install*pointy*drooly*clicky* bah, it sux". OTOH, they think that
anyway.
