If you have kde then install kppp package and try to access the internet from the 
server.
kppp is a part of knetutil*.rpm (something like that)and similar to the dial up of 
windows.
if you can connect and browse the net from the server.Then install the squid proxy on 
the server.

#rpm -ivh squid*.rpm
#/etc/rc.d/init.d/squid start
#squid -z

on the client side first ping your server.
then configure browser for access thru proxy eg 10.1.1.1 port 3128

bye

you should be able to access the internet from the clients.
